Lanzarote accommodations, the ones that generate the least employment per income
Despite their good results, the tourist accommodations of Lanzarote are the ones that create the least employment in the archipelago for every 10,000 euros earned. Specifically, this rate amounts to 1.75 jobs on the island of Lanzarote.
The same amount of income is capable of generating many more jobs in the western islands. In El Hierro there are 4.47 jobs, in La Gomera, 3.84 and in La Palma 3.75.
But also the accommodations of the capital islands and Fuerteventura manage to generate more jobs with the same income. In Tenerife there are 2.14 jobs, in Gran Canaria 2.08, and in Fuerteventura 2.16 jobs.
