From last June 26th and until next Wednesday, July 1st, the first big summer holiday departure operation will take place in Spain, with one of the largest concentrations of passengers flying from our airports. During these days, Iberia Express has scheduled more than 650 flights and will offer nearly 130,000 seats to the Canary Islands, the Balearic Islands, and other international destinations.
This summer, Iberia Express's star market will once again be the Canary Islands where, just for this first departure operation, it has scheduled 326 flights and almost 65,000 seats on its routes to Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, La Palma, Lanzarote, and Tenerife.
In addition, on June 28th and 30th, Iberia Express will operate 12 frequencies between Madrid and Tenerife, and 10 with Gran Canaria on July 1st, already reaching one of its highest activity peaks with both islands.
Throughout the summer, Iberia Express will exceed 400 weekly flights between Madrid and the archipelago, improving connectivity to all the islands where it operates, and reaching up to 11 daily flights in each direction to Gran Canaria, up to 13 to Tenerife, up to three to Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, and up to two to La Palma.
Iberia Express has reinforced its operations in the archipelago with more frequencies and a wider variety of schedules to facilitate travel for residents and visitors to the islands over the next four months and, at the same time, promote the de-seasonalization of tourism.
