Passengers arriving in Spain by air will no longer be required to complete the health control form before departure, and extraordinary measures against Covid-19 are being reduced at all points of entry, both air and sea.
The suspension will take effect from 00:00 hours this Tuesday, September 20, according to a resolution of the General Directorate of Public Health collected this Monday by the Official State Gazette (BOE).
The resolution published this Monday modifies another one from April 1 on the health controls to be carried out at the points of entry into Spain, given the evolution of the pandemic at a global level and the epidemiological situation in Spain.
Thus, and in order to favor the normalization of international mobility with the least possible impact on public health, the General Directorate of Public Health considers it convenient to update some of the aspects contemplated in the resolution of April 1, 2022.
In this way, it is no longer considered necessary to maintain the use of the Spain Travel Health (SpTH) application for passengers to validate the health control form with their epidemiological information.
Likewise, once normality has been restored on international cruises, it is considered appropriate to eliminate the extraordinary measures implemented.
Health controls at ports and airports are reduced for international arrivals
Travelers arriving in Lanzarote from outside of Spain will no longer have to fill out the health control form prior to entering the country.
