The British newspaper Daily Express has published an article recommending a getaway in November to its readers in a month that is expected to have very bad weather in the United Kingdom.
“If you’re looking for a warm winter near the UK, you’re in luck. There’s an island that reaches 23°C in November, while other parts of Europe face cold and snowy temperatures,” he explains.
In the piece, the newspaper interviews travel expert Mark Hodson from the company 101 Holidays, in which he "reveals the best European island to visit in November if you are looking for a warm climate."
"I find it a complicated time of year because, although in the south of the Mediterranean you can expect a lot of sun and temperatures of 20 °C, many tourist centers close. However, there is an island where you can enjoy highs of 23 °C, even in November. This island is Gran Canaria,” Hodson advised.
The travel expert assures that Lanzarote follows in second place, because the highs are also 23 degrees, but the lows average 16 degrees, one less than in Gran Canaria.
The article also highlights that Tenerife is the coldest island in the Canary Islands in November, with average maximum temperatures of 21 degrees and minimums of 15.
