Arrecife's lodging establishments billed an average of 83 euros per night in 2023

At the International Tourism Fair of Madrid, the Arrecife City Council announced that "two new tourist establishments" will open during the next year.

Arrecife achieved an average of 83 euros per lodging space per night during the past year 2023, according to official statistics from the Canary Islands Statistics Institute (ISTAC) disseminated by the capital's council. According to the data published in the Annual report on the profitability and evolution of lodging establishments throughout the Archipelago during the past year.

According to this study, lodging establishments in Arrecife closed in the month of December with an income per room and night of 95.02 euros. The average during all of 2023 was "82.95 euros."

"Arrecife has achieved figures similar to those recorded in the capital of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria during the past year," where its tourist complexes had an income of "86.05 euros per night and room." In Puerto del Rosario, the figure was "50.32 euros," and in Santa Cruz de La Palma, "62.94 euros." Instead, the capital of the island of Tenerife, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, closed 2023 with an average income per room and night of "86.65 euros."

Recently, the mayor of Arrecife, Yonathan de León, and the Councilor for Tourism, Eli Merino, confirmed at the International Tourism Fair of Madrid (Fitur) that during 2025 "two new tourist establishments" will open in the Lanzarote capital. One of those buildings is already under construction, in front of the Canary Islands Park, and the other will be located in the Cuatro Esquinas area, next to the Charco de San Ginés.
