An old apartment complex in Lanzarote, reopens in April as a five-star hotel

The mayor of Tías, José Juan Cruz Saavedra, recently visited the historic apartment complex Los Pueblos, converted into a five-star establishment, Royal Atlántico hotel. Cruz Saavedra congratulated them for "their commitment to minimizing environmental impact and to satisfying clients looking for a differentiated experience".

The mayor of Tías, accompanied by the president of the Lanzarote Tourist Federation, Susana Pérez, was received by the hotel director, Berta Sendon, and colleagues from the business group, who confirmed that they will open their doors in April and highlighted the implementation of renewable energies, the efficient management of water and the use of ecological materials, “which makes it a benchmark as sustainable tourist accommodation in Puerto del Carmen”.

From its conception, the hotel has incorporated criteria of energy efficiency, optimization of water resources and responsible use of materials

"With 93 spaces designed in detail, it offers contemporary, open, accessible architecture and a careful integration with the environment. Its rooms stand out for their spaciousness and functionality, designed not only for individual comfort, but also for families. The design allows everyone to be together, enjoying comfortable, bright and carefully equipped spaces to guarantee privacy and well-being", explained the Tías council in a note.

Among its attractions, the Hotel Royal Atlántico will feature up to nine privacy zones distributed throughout the complex, equipped with jacuzzis and hammocks, conceived as small oases of tranquility.

The gastronomic proposal will be another of the hotel's pillars. Its main restaurant, Elysium, will offer breakfasts, lunches, and dinners with a clear commitment to the island's products, valuing local gastronomy with a quality proposal. In addition, it will have a modern artisanal ice cream parlor - creperie ideal for enjoying at any time of the day.

One of the emblems of the establishment will be its rooftop or rooftop, from which one can contemplate the sunset and which is called to become an iconic space due to its impressive views and its connection with the sea and the mountains.
