CaixaBank has awarded Alicia Martinón recognition for her business career in the Canary Islands, within the framework of the sixth edition of the 'CaixaBank Hotels & Tourism Awards' that the entity grants nationally.
Under the title 'Businesswomen with Stars', this year the awards celebrate a special edition that recognizes female executives in the hotel sector and tourist accommodation for their professional career and the leadership of projects that contribute to improving the tourist offer.
The CEO of Grupo Grumasa Martinón has received this recognition from CaixaBank for the company's trajectory, of a family nature, which has been making a firm commitment to innovation and technology in each of its projects over the years, with a presence in Spain, Mexico, the Dominican Republic and Aruba.
Alicia Martinón has expressed her gratitude to CaixaBank for this award in a year that is especially important for the business group, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary, “so this award also becomes a tribute to my father and founder, who tried to ensure that each project was sustainable with the environment, with the countries in which the company made its foray, with its sights always set on the future,” she highlighted.
The businesswoman also wanted to express her gratitude to the entire human team that works with the group and to all the guests and partners who have trusted the Grupo Grumasa Martinón in its 50 years of experience.
Next January 24, CaixaBank Hotels & Tourism will bring together all the winners of this edition in an event at the stand that the financial institution will have at the International Tourism Fair (FITUR) that will be held in Madrid.
CaixaBank Hotels & Tourism currently has a total credit portfolio to the tourist accommodation sector of 8,300 million euros and nearly 12,000 clients.
