Teguise is the third most expensive municipality in Lanzarote to buy a home with a square meter that reached 3,341 euros in June, according to Idealista.com figures provided by the Lanzarote Data Center.
In Tías, the most expensive municipality on the island, the square meter marked 3,957 euros in June, while in Yaiza, the average price is 3,680 euros.
However, when we look at the data for the town of Costa Teguise alone, prices almost reach those of Tías.
The square meter in Costa Teguise reached a new historic high in June of 3,916 euros, which represents an increase of 4.8% in the last three months.
Compared to twelve months ago, when the square meter was 3,654 euros, the increase is 7.2%.
The last historic high in Costa Teguise was in July of last year when the price reached 3,737 euros. A figure that deflated in the following months to 3,478 euros in October.
Since then, the price has risen progressively again until marking this new historic high in June and which is very close to 4,000 euros per square meter.
