The Erupción Winery has been awarded two gold medals in the VI edition of the International Wine Competition Spanish Sommeliers (CIVAS) organized by the magazine specializing in wines and gastronomy AkataVino.

The professional jury awarded the white wines Chinija Salvaje 2024 and Milagro de Magmasía Selección 2022, both made under the seal of the Designation of Origin Vinos de Lanzarote.

The contest, organized by AkataVino, is characterized by its blind tastings and the "rigorous evaluation system that only allows the participation of wineries invited after passing a selection process." In this edition, the awarded wines "have demonstrated a very high level, placing Lanzarote among the great national references in quality viticulture," explain from the Regulatory Council.

The double recognition underlines the ability of Bodega Erupción to produce wines that express the authenticity of their origin: "the freshness and volcanic minerality in Chinija Salvaje 2024 and the complexity and elegance of Milagro de Magmasía Selección 2022."

“The success of Bodega Erupción in the CIVAS AKATAVINO Excellence Awards is a recognition of the uniqueness and quality of Lanzarote wines, being the best example of how tradition, effort and innovation can transform extreme conditions into wines of international prestige”, said Jorge Rodríguez, president of the Regulatory Council of the DOP Vinos de Lanzarote.
