The Regulatory Council is once again presenting a calendar of activities this year that promises to enrich the wine experience on the island and encourages all interested parties to pay attention to its social networks (@vinosdelanzarote).
The next scheduled event will be on March 23, when vineyard enthusiasts will be able to participate in the "Hiking Route through the Erupción Winery", where nature and wine will intertwine in a memorable experience.
After the success of last year, the Council is also planning other activities for the course of the spring, still to be confirmed, such as: 'ConVinados', with a series of pairing dinners with fusion gastronomy; "Once upon a Vine" and "Once upon a Vine... Now you write the story", to enjoy literature between sips; and other sensory experiences, such as the renowned "Blind Tasting", for the most expert palates in evenings of mystery and discovery.
First events of the year
This year's season began with experiences that have left their mark on the hearts and palates of the most attentive. The 'Chocolate and Wine' workshop, led by Enrique Martín from the La Corona chocolate shop, was a fusion of flavors and pairings that accompanied the Valentine's Day festivities at Castillo San José.
Recently, the program continued with 'Flowers, aromas and wine', by Marina Gordeeva, where participants discovered the intimate relationship between wine and its floral notes. A taster from the Regulatory Council attended both activities, presenting/tasting each of the references that were tasted there. These activities have laid the foundations for what will be a full year of discoveries and oenological pleasures.
