The fourth edition of the Leading Company Award for Dual Vocational Training has awarded the Hibiscus Lanzarote hotel group for its practices in the training of apprentices within the company.
This award is part of the Dual Vocational Training in the Company Program and is awarded each year by the Chamber of Commerce of Lanzarote and La Graciosa and CaixaBank Dualiza. The award seeks to recognize and make visible the good practices of business organizations, which find in quality dual vocational training a guarantee of the future for the employability of students and the productivity of the companies themselves.
The winner of this edition, Hibiscus Lanzarote, has been recognized for "the involvement of its entire team, having its own training plan in the company, its careful organization, and the resources put into training."
The rest of the companies participating in this fourth edition of the award have also been recognized for their good practices in the exercise of dual vocational training: Art, Culture and Tourism Centers of Lanzarote, Isla Lanzarote Gymnastics Club, Conforama Spain, Costa Teguise Golf, Finca Vega Costa, and Seaside Hotel Los Jameos.
The event was attended by the general director of Vocational Training of the Government of the Canary Islands, Ainhoa Molina; the vice president of the Chamber of Commerce, Carmen Martinón; the Business Area director in Lanzarote of Caixabank, Enrique Sánchez; and the Councilor for Education and Employment of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, Ascensión Toledo.
