Unemployment fell by 0.1% in November, which is equivalent to four fewer people on the unemployment lists in Lanzarote.
Thus, the total number of **unemployed** on the island stands at **6,924 people**, 7.2% less than a year ago.Meanwhile, unemployment fell in November by 1.9% in Fuerteventura, 0.9% in Tenerife, and 0.8% in Gran Canaria.
By municipality, unemployment fell particularly in Teguise, where 28 people left the unemployment lists (-3.4%), bringing the municipality's total to 789 unemployed, 11.6% less than a year ago.
Next, Yaiza, where unemployment fell by 1.8%, equivalent to ten more people employed. Thus, the number of unemployed in the south currently stands at 548 people, 1.3% less than twelve months ago.
In Tías, the drop was 0.3%, meaning two fewer people unemployed, bringing the total to 730 unemployed, which is 6.9% less than a year ago.
Unemployment fell by 0.1% in Arrecife, which equates to three fewer people on the unemployment lists, bringing the total to 3,484 unemployed. Compared to a year ago, unemployment fell by 6.6%.
In Haría, unemployment rose by 1.6%, which equates to four more people on the unemployment lists in the north. The total for the municipality is now 251 unemployed. Compared to November 2024, unemployment is 19.3% lower.
Unemployment also rose in **San Bartolomé**, by 4%, meaning 33 more people have registered as unemployed, bringing the total to 854. Compared to last year, unemployment in the municipality that hosts the airport is 0.7% higher.
Tinajo experienced no changes. It still has the same number of unemployed people as the previous month, that is, 268 people. A year ago, there were 20.7% more unemployed people in the municipality.
