Having just celebrated its 40th anniversary, HiperDino is launching an expansion plan with which it expects to open 30 new stores in 2026, including the first Hiperdino in Costa Teguise, the construction of which has already begun.
This plan is in addition to the 28 openings and 9 renovations in 2025 across the archipelago, in which 50 million euros were invested.
Thus, the leading supermarket chain in the Canary Islands will soon exceed 10,000 employees, as it currently has 9,963 employees.
HiperDino calculates that it contributes 2.72% to the Canary Islands' Gross Domestic Product, according to 2024 data. It is the leading Canary Islands company in job creation and third in turnover.
