Marina Lanzarote expects to open in mid-September

The board of directors of the Port Authority of Las Palmas approved this Monday to grant the entity Puerto Calero Marinas S.L. the extension of the term of the state-owned concession granted on March 8, 2012 for the construction and operation of a land area and a sheet of water for nautical-sports uses, in the Puerto de Naos dock (Arrecife), where the facilities of the Marina Lanzarote marina and dry dock are located.

The extension of the concession will be until 2061 and the Port Authority will apply a reduction of up to 20 percent in the amount of the fees currently charged to its users.

Calero Marinas inaugurated the Marina Lanzarote facilities in 2014, located on the Islote de las Cruces, which closed the bay of Naos. It is the first marina with all the services that travelers find upon arrival in the Canary archipelago.
