The CIDE Network of the Canary Islands Government, which groups together 27 research centers and drives innovation and technological development, advised more than 1,500 companies in 2025 and promoted R&D&i projects that attracted more than 15.6 million euros in funding.

Promoted by the Ministry of Universities, Science and Innovation and Culture, through the Canary Agency for Research, Innovation and Information Society (ACIISI), and co-financed by the European Union (ERDF at 85%), the Network offers specialized services to companies, associations, and public and private entities in the archipelago.

Among the main achievements, 4,167 **information services** provided with technical support and specialized **advice** stand out; 1,564 advised **innovation projects**, of which 504 were submitted to public **calls** and 242 to innovation programs; 291 projects approved, with a total of 15.6 million euros obtained; 112 collaboration searches and 38 agreements between companies and knowledge agents; 28 success cases identified, showing the contribution of innovation to the economic and social development of the archipelago

The Network has also strengthened its territorial capillarity, ensuring coverage on all islands and bringing services closer to companies in all sectors, with special attention to digital transformation and sustainability. In addition, 74 events were organized and participation in another 17, in addition to workshops and internal training days for the network's technical staff

In the words of the director of ACIISI, Javier Franco Hormiga, "the CIDE Network is consolidating itself as a benchmark in the Canary Islands' innovation ecosystem, offering tools, training, and advice that foster collaboration between companies, universities, and research centers."

The director highlighted that a delegation of R&D managers from the Canary Islands also converged at this Conference, coming from public universities, university foundations, IAC, ITC, IPNA, PLOCAN, and clusters.

Both the management team and the agents of the CIDE Network participated jointly in the visit to the Fuerteventura Technology Park on November 20, where both teams were able to interact and learn about the work they do from their respective organizations to strengthen and diversify the regional productive fabric through synergies. The Training Day, like the visit of R&D managers, are initiatives financed by ACIISI.
