The Chamber of Commerce of Lanzarote and La Graciosa obtains a score of 10 in the Transparency Index of the Canary Islands of public law corporations.
The Lanzarote Chamber thus maintains, for the fifth consecutive year, the outstanding grade and manages to rise to ten points, the maximum score awarded by the Transparency Commissioner of the Canary Islands.
The score now published corresponds to the review carried out in 2023, where the information published from the previous year is analyzed. This evaluation is carried out on all public administrations, public law corporations, such as professional associations or chambers of commerce, and any organization that receives public funds.
The review analyzes the public availability of certain information from these institutions, as well as the accessibility and format of publication of said information, considering the degree of compliance with state and Canary Islands transparency laws.
For the president of the business entity, José Valle Martínez, "this is the result of the effort to comply with transparency towards our companies, an important value to guarantee the correct functioning of the institutions and the use of public funds." You can consult here the results.
