The Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism, through the EOI Foundation, is launching the Female Entrepreneurship Attraction Program, with a budget of 10 million euros for the next 3 years from the European Next Generation-EU funds.
The initiative is intended to serve 833 women entrepreneurs residing in the European Union who want to develop their project in Spain.
The objective is to attract entrepreneurial projects that are led and managed by women from the European Union so that they know the national business ecosystem, establish commercial relations with Spanish entities, invest in the country and contribute to local development.
The program consists of several activities such as the identification of local communities and challenges, the dissemination of the call in the EU, the registration and selection of entrepreneurs, the assignment of Entrepreneurs-Local Communities, training and itineraries, travel management and impact measurement and dissemination of results.
At the same time, with initiatives like these, the Government wants to recover the Spanish female talent that is outside the country, offering them training and mentoring to return.
This program, from which you can expand information here, adds to other initiatives of the Executive in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship, such as the Startups Law.
