The Lanzarote Chamber of Commerce and the CIDE Network held an informative conference last Thursday, aimed at disseminating innovation in the vehicle repair and maintenance sector. The conference, given by Armando Clemente, head of the Engineering Department of CESVIMAP, MAPFRE's Road Safety and Experimentation Center, addressed the innovation applied to workshops to be more efficient, as well as the regulatory application, certifications or the exhibition of a whole catalog of new technological solutions in the sector market.
The conference was attended by a wide business representation of the sector, made up of just over 50 professionals, but also by future entrepreneurs and workers in the sector, who are the young people who are training in mechanics, bodywork and painting cycles at the Zonzamas Vocational Training center. In total, there were just over 100 participants who were "very interested and participatory", according to the Chamber of Commerce in a statement.
This collaboration carried out between the Lanzarote Chamber of Commerce and the FP Center, IES Zonzamas, is the result of "many meetings in which it is intended to create synergies between the field of theory and that of experience, school and business". As a result of this collaboration, during the conference break, the students of the Hospitality and Restaurant Cycle were responsible for serving a snack, prepared by themselves, to the participants of the day.
