Proexca and the Canary Islands Special Zone - ZEC - have participated in the Games Developers Conference held in San Francisco, USA these days and have done so jointly, under the Canary Islands Games brand, in the space of ICEX Spain Export and Investment - Games From Spain.
The aforementioned Californian conference is the largest annual meeting of professional video game developers in the world, bringing together video game studios, programmers, producers, game designers, business decision-makers and others involved in the development of interactive games.
Within this framework, Proexca has carried out a complete agenda of meetings with video game studios to promote the advantages that the Canary Islands presents as one of the hubs for the development of this industry, establishing itself as one of the international territories with the most potential and growth expectations.
The Canary Islands has attended within the strategy of promoting the internationalization of the Spanish audiovisual sector, and specifically the video game sector carried out by ICEX, who has organized the Spanish delegation of companies in the sector bringing together more than 70 professionals and 33 Spanish companies.
