Lanzarote Moda, a firm belonging to the Cabildo de Lanzarote, has been present at the International Fashion Show of Madrid, held last week, through six firms attached to the entity, which participated in the BISUTEX and MOMAD fairs where they presented their new collections for the next season.

Silizza, Joyas de Fuego, Carmen Dauta, Oswaldo Machín, Ángel Cabrera, Angie Vasquez and Alava Brand are the brands that have been present at the event.

"Successful" participation

The Minister of Industry, Ariagona González, has highlighted that, from the island institution, they are "aware of the need" to find ways to enhance the competitiveness of the island's firms and designers, so they are "decisively" committed to promoting the fashion industry through actions aimed at its commercialization and internationalization.

González highlighted that thanks to events "of international caliber like this one", the entities and users belonging to Lanzarote Moda can expand their market shares both nationally and globally.

In the case of the capital's Fashion Show, the "success" of the island's representatives was "evident", according to the Minister, based on "the creativity, the design, the quality of their brands", as well as the image of their collections for the new summer season 2023.
