Ryanair's cabin crew (TCP) have finally called a strike for the next days 25 and 26 of July. The decision was adopted this Thursday after a meeting held in Brussels between representatives of the Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and Belgian unions, which are the countries that will be affected by these stoppages.
According to the Europa Press agency, the workers have announced that they do not rule out adopting other additional measures if the airline does not make concessions and attends to some of the demands made.
The strike would directly affect the Canary Islands and in particular Lanzarote, given the connections that Ryanair offers both with European destinations and with the Peninsula. However, the consequences of the strike on the island will depend on the minimum services set by the Ministry.
