The Sepla pilots' union has announced five days of strike at Ryanair for next September, joining the stoppages called by the cabin crew, represented by the Sictpla and USO unions, due to the announced closure of the company's bases in Lanzarote, Tenerife South, Gran Canaria and Girona.
Specifically, the pilots' strike is scheduled for 19, 20, 22, 27 and 29, three of them coinciding with the call announced by the cabin crew, which in this case set 10 days of stoppages, which are 1, 2, 6, 8, 13, 15, 20, 22, 27 and 28 September.
According to Sepla, the union has submitted a request for mediation to the SIMA, but "if the conflict is not resolved", "the official strike call will be made to the competent bodies".
