The Industrial Association of the Canary Islands, ASINCA, the Canary Association of Vacation Rentals, ASCAV, and HiperDino have signed a collaboration agreement to promote products 'Made in the Canary Islands' among tourists staying in vacation homes in the archipelago.
The agreement arises from the effort of all parties to bring products Made in the Canary Islands to the 1.6 million tourists who annually visit the archipelago and stay in this type of housing, benefiting the primary and industrial sectors of the archipelago.
The objective of the agreement is for tourists to know and consume products made and produced in the Canary Islands to promote the growth of the primary and industrial sectors of the Canary Islands, thereby promoting the economic, social, and environmental development of the islands.
A gift voucher, of different amounts, will soon be launched, which the owners and managers of vacation homes can give to tourists upon arrival at the accommodation, as a welcome gift, and which can be redeemed in the extensive network of HiperDino supermarkets, exclusively for Canarian products. This is expected to allow tourists to get to know the distinctive mark of the “Made in the Canary Islands” brand up close.
