If the 20 cents bonus is deducted from the fuel that has been applied in the gas stations of La Palma, La Gomera and El Hierro since last April 1, only on the westernmost island of the Canary Islands is more paid than in Lanzarote.
With the discount, the liter of gasoline in El Hierro is 1.415 euros on average in May, while in Lanzarote it is paid at 1.406, according to data published by the Lanzarote Data Center based on the statistics of the General Directorate of Energy of the Government of the Canary Islands.
The bonus to gasoline in the green islands makes this fuel cheaper than in Lanzarote both in La Palma, where the liter is 1.274 euros, and in La Gomera, where it is now paid on average 1.317 euros.
In addition, there is the circumstance that in Fuerteventura, which like Lanzarote does not have fuel bonuses, the liter is marking on average this month 1.389 euros per liter, and therefore costs less than on the island of rabbits.
It is not surprising that, as has been usual since time immemorial, this fuel is cheaper in Gran Canaria, where it is currently sold at 1.288 euros on average per liter, and in Tenerife, whose average price is located at 1.299 euros.
