Lanzarote airport receives almost 4 million travelers in half a year

Across all the airports in the Canary Islands, there were 23.4 million passengers

César Manrique Airport received a total of 3,938,547 travelers in the first half of this year, which represents an increase of 17.9% compared to last year.

In the Canary Islands as a whole, the airports received 23,453,741 passengers, which is also 17.9% more than those who arrived in the same period of 2022.

Gran Canaria airport recorded the highest number of passengers in the first six months of the year with 6,810,891, which represents 19.6% more than from January to June 2022.

It is followed by the airport of Tenerife South, which with 6,071,494 passengers accounts for an increase of 19.5% over 2022.

After the Lanzarote airport, it occupies the fourth place in increased arrivals, that of Tenerife North-Ciudad de La Laguna, with 2,903,097 arrivals (+15.2%);

2,900,495 people arrived in Fuerteventura by plane (+14%); the airport of La Palma, with 646,254 passengers, experienced a growth of 15.4%.

 The airport of El Hierro, with 133,525 arrivals, registers an increase of 10.7%. That of La Gomera, with 49,438 passengers, accounts for the highest percentage growth with 31.3% more compared to the same months of 2022.
