The Centers of Art, Culture and Tourism of the Island Council of Lanzarote and Radio Lanzarote will celebrate the Day of the Canary Islands by recalling some of the most popular legends of our island, through radio micro-spaces, in which the listener goes back to the times of the past where mysticism and magic were part of the day to day of the people of Lanzarote.
Stories such as the mortal test of Princess Ico, to demonstrate her royal blood, the formation of Olivina, or the tragedy that gives its name to the Devil of Timanfaya, will come to the radio appointment in the coming weeks until May 30, Canary Islands Day.
In this way, the CACTS want to be present with their people, recalling the most vivid stories of remote times, and always reminding them that a visit to any of the magnificent places that make up each of the Centers is an activity that constantly reunites us with the history and meaning of our island.
A way to stimulate the collective imagination by recalling legendary passages, inviting the people of Lanzarote to take advantage of these dates to better know any of the 7 original jewels that make up the Tourist Centers.
