Healthcare Sector
According to the Director of the MICROSISTEMAS Integrated FP Center, Ms. Beatriz Salazar, "the healthcare sector is undoubtedly one of the great generators of employment in Spain and not only nationally, but throughout Europe, this professional branch has many opportunities in the public and private sector. After the Covid-19 crisis, graduates in Auxiliary Nursing Care will enjoy multiple employment opportunities, in addition to factors such as the increase in life expectancy and greater development of geriatrics".
In the Higher Degree of dental hygienist, the number of annual contracts has quadrupled. This FP Degree is a branch of dentistry on the rise. Dental hygienists are the right hand of dentists, they not only prepare and provide the material but also take x-rays, preventive dentistry, seal fissures, perform topical fluoridation, periodontal studies, among other activities.
Currently, the Higher Cycle of dietetics is a profession highly valued in society where there are a large number of job offers. Students who complete their studies can carry out their professional activity performing various occupations such as dietitian in health centers, hospitals, schools, nurseries, nursing homes, among others. In addition, they will be trained to work in laboratories in food safety skills, quality control of a company, food inspector, nutrition companies and/or start a business performing health activities. FP + Degree from 4 years. Double official degree
The synergies between the MICROSISTEMAS Integrated FP Center and the Isabel I University allow you to obtain in just 4 years some of the University Degrees that it teaches.
Once all the FP modules of one of the Higher Technician Cycles have been passed, the student of the MICROSISTEMAS Integrated FP Center, thanks to the validation system, directly accesses the degree and obtains a double Official Degree in four years.
Officiality of the degrees
All the FP training offered at the MICROSISTEMAS Integrated FP Center is Official and valid throughout the national territory, being an Authorized Center by the Ministry of Education of the Government of the Canary Islands.
This officiality allows the Higher FP Technicians direct access to University Degree studies.
Scholarships and Grants
Being Official Degrees, students can apply for scholarships and grants from the Ministry of Education or subsidize training up to 100% of the cost.
