Having recently celebrated its 45 years of experience and the graduation of 140 new professionals, the Integrated Center for Vocational Training Microsistemas is now opening enrollment for the 2026-2027 academic year, inviting young people and adults from Lanzarote to train close to home for a future that can go much further.
A track record that backs every degree
With over 90,000 students trained since 1981, Microsistemas has established itself as a benchmark for Vocational Training on the island. Its programs —Auxiliary Nursing Care, Diagnostic Imaging and Nuclear Medicine, Oral Hygiene, Dietetics, and Administration and Finance— are designed in direct connection with the real needs of the Canary Islands business sector.
That connection translates into employment: Vocational Training currently has an employability rate of 73%, with sectors nearing full employment, and it is estimated that by 2030, 70% of job offers will require these types of professional profiles.
Up to 16 degrees to choose from
In addition to the courses from the latest graduating class, it offers up to 16 different degrees in areas such as Commerce and Marketing, Web Development, IT, Cooking, Tourism, and Hospitality, thus expanding the training options available on the island.
Dual FP and university degree qualifications
Thanks to the validations offered by Microsistemas through its agreement with Universidad Isabel I, students can pursue a dual FP qualification in three years, or opt to validate their FP qualification with a university degree, obtaining both the FP title and a university degree qualification in four years.
Support until the first job
Enrolling at MICROSISTEMAS does not end on graduation day. The center has its own employment agency that continues to support its former students in their job search and keeps them informed of new employment and training opportunities, thus extending a relationship that, in the words of its general director, Beatriz Salazar, "lasts a lifetime."
