Framed within the 40th anniversary of Colegio Arenas Internacional, the graduation ceremony recognized the 38 students of the XXIX Promotion of National Baccalaureate and the XV of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme in the Auditorium “La Geria” of the Hotel Barceló Playa Blanca.
The event, hosted by Matilde Corredera, was presided over by Alberto Rodríguez, president of Colegios Arenas, Arenas Atlántico, and Arenas Internacional, along with the general director of Colegio Arenas Internacional Jaime Rodríguez and its academic director José Paz Botana.
The godmother, Yésica Pérez Miranda, mother of students, former student of the center and member of the first graduating class of COU, highlighted the school's journey and the bond between generations, emphasizing the effort and sense of belonging to the educational community.
During the ceremony, students Naiara Montero Abramovich and Nahuel Santiago Canata spoke, representing their graduating classes. The emotional speeches were interspersed with music from the San Ginés Polyphonic Choir and the screening of an emotional audiovisual that traced the students' journey through the years at the school.
The closing of the event was in charge of Alberto Rodríguez, putting the finishing touch on a ceremony that symbolizes the end of an era and the beginning of new challenges for the graduates.
After the event, attendees shared a cocktail at the hotel facilities, ending a night full of emotions.
