Canal Gestión Lanzarote has reported the interruption of the drinking water supply from this Tuesday and until further notice in the rural areas of the center of the island, as a consequence of a major breakdown suffered in two of the three pumps that drive the water to the Montaña Mina reservoir.

The affected towns are San Bartolomé, Güime, Montaña Blanca, Mozaga, El Islote, Tao, Tiagua, Caleta Famara, Muñique, Soo, Caleta Caballo, Mancha Blanca, La Vegueta, El Cuchillo, La Santa and Tinajo.

As soon as the company resolves the serious incident recorded, the restoration of the service in the affected areas will be communicated. Canal Gestión Lanzarote has regretted the inconvenience that this interruption of supply may cause to all its customers, and has thanked all its subscribers for their collaboration.
