The Ministry of Tourism, Industry and Commerce of the Government of the Canary Islands, through Turismo de Islas Canarias, has launched a promotional action aimed at the peninsular market to stimulate the demand for travel through a raffle of a vacation to the Islands. The objective of this new initiative, which revolves around the concept of moving from one phase to another, in this case the 'Tranquility Phase', is to generate the desire to come to the Canary Islands while transmitting confidence and showing that they are a safe tourist destination that has worked intensively on its reopening after the global pandemic by COVID-19.

As the Minister of Tourism, Yaiza Castilla, points out, "with the reopening of borders it is time to generate greater desire to come to the Canary Islands. And also, in a context in which security protocols are already being applied, we want it to be seen that they can visit us with the maximum conditions of safety, hygiene and quality, without missing a few days of rest and enjoyment."

On this occasion the campaign is aimed at healthcare personnel, a group that has become one of the symbols of the fight against the disease, with the unanimous recognition of the entire society.

To participate in the draw for 30 vacations for two people with a five-night stay in the Canary Islands, those interested must meet certain requirements such as being a healthcare professional and joining the action that will take place on the Instagram profile of Islas Canarias @islascanariasoficial, between July 3 and 5, commenting on the post of the promotion publication with the word #participo. The winners will be able to travel to the Canary Islands on the flight that will depart from Madrid on July 8 with return on July 13 to the same city.

The hotel establishments Hotel Lemon & Soul Cactus Garden (Meeting Point Hotels), Gold By Marina (Grupo Satocan), Beachfront Resort Lanzarote (Sands Beach), Iberostar Anthelia Selection (Iberostar) and Lopesan Baobab (Lopesan Hotel Group), which will be responsible for the accommodation of the winners, and the airline Binter Canarias, which will collaborate in the transfers between islands, have joined this coordinated promotional action, which has the collaboration of the island councils.
