The Rapid Intervention Group (GIR) of the Civil Guard of Puerto del Rosario intervened last night in a holiday home where there were about twenty people consuming alcoholic beverages, without wearing a mask and without keeping a safe distance.
The Civil Guard was alerted to these events and was able to access a tourist complex located in the urban center of Corralejo in collaboration with the caller, verifying from the outside how in a holiday villa the music was loud together with a large number of people who were violating the sanitary regulations established for the containment of covid-19.
After requesting the presence of the person in charge, the agents were able to evict it, counting another 13 people who were inside, being a group of tourists who were proposed for the corresponding sanction for non-compliance with the prevention and containment measures against covid-19.
This action is framed within the devices that the Civil Guard is carrying out to monitor compliance with the rules established for the containment of the pandemic that threatens people's health.
In addition, this is not the only noteworthy intervention because during the night, among other actions carried out by the GIR, a restaurant located also in Corralejo was located that was in breach of the closing time in which it housed people consuming in the authorized areas.
The Command of the Civil Guard of Las Palmas reminds and reiterates to all citizens that in these festive days of Holy Week they must not fail to comply with the rules established for the containment of covid-19 according to the island in which they are located.
