Tenerife concentrates 59.8% of the coronavirus positives registered in the Canary Islands, accumulating 826 cases of the 1,380 confirmed in the archipelago. In addition, in Tenerife 42 of the 63 people who died in the Canary Islands from Covid-19 have died, which is more than 66%..

As for the rest of the islands, Gran Canaria accumulates 384 cases of coronavirus and 15 deaths, while in Lanzarote there are 59 infected and four deaths. And it is that, this Tuesday night we had to regret the death of a 75-year-old from Lanzarote, who had a previous pathology.

For its part, in La Palma there are 68 confirmed cases of coronavirus, with two deaths having been recorded. Fuerteventura with 32 positives, La Gomera with eight and El Hierro with three have not had to regret any deaths from Covid-19 so far.

Regarding the age of the deceased, most of the deaths have been concentrated in patients between 80 and 89 years old, with 26 deaths. Fifteen of the deceased were between 70 and 79 years old and four were over 90. Eight people between 60 and 69 years old have died, five between 50 and 59 years old have died, one between 40 and 49 years old has died, and three between 30 and 39 years old have died. Of the other deceased, Health indicates that it does not yet have the age.

Of the 1,380 cases of coronavirus accumulated in the Canary Islands, 532 people have required hospitalization and 110 have needed to do so in the ICU.
