Sánchez announces that masks will no longer be mandatory outdoors on June 26

"This will be the last weekend with masks in outdoor spaces," the President of the Government has announced.

The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, announced this Friday that masks will no longer be mandatory in outdoor spaces from Saturday, June 26.

In his speech at the closing of the Cercle d'Economia Meeting, held in Barcelona, he explained that he will convene an extraordinary Council of Ministers to approve the measure.   

 "This will be the last weekend with masks in outdoor spaces," celebrated the president, who stressed that the forecasts made by the Government "are not only optimistic, but will fall short."
