Canarias has added 193 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, in which five deaths have also been reported.
Two of these deaths were recorded in Lanzarote and involved two women, one of them young, as La Voz already reported. As for the other three deaths, they have taken place in Tenerife and involve two men and one woman. The deceased, according to the Ministry, were between 38 and 90 years old.
The archipelago accumulates 31,672 cases of coronavirus since the beginning of the pandemic, of which 8,163 are active, after 287 discharges have also been added.
Of the active cases, the Ministry of Health counts 60 hospitalized in the ICU and 304 admitted to the hospital ward. However, in this case, data would be missing to add since, at least in the case of Lanzarote, it is reflected that there are only 25 people hospitalized, while this Monday morning the director of the Health Area of the island, Noelia Umpierrez, confirmed that there were already 32 people admitted, nine of them in the ICU.
As for the cumulative incidence in the Canary Islands, it is 92.9 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in seven days and 174.28 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in 14 days.
