The Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands has reconfirmed the negative result for coronavirus of two patients who are admitted to the Ntra. Sra. de Candelaria University Hospital, in Tenerife.
Specifically, these are two guests of Italian nationality who were staying at the hotel in the south of Tenerife and who had been hospitalized since the tests came back positive.
According to the Ministry of Health, after reconfirming the negative result, they will be discharged. In this way, the number of active cases in the Canary Islands drops to 16. Of the 21 who have been infected in the Islands, 5 have already been discharged after reconfirming the negative result for the virus.
