ESSSCAN and the Professional College of Occupational Therapists Sign Agreement to Promote Training

This initiative aims to promote the comprehensive training of professionals in the health and social sectors, contributing to the continuous improvement of public services and the well-being of citizens

The School of Health and Social Services of the Canary Islands (ESSSCAN), attached to the Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands, and the Professional College of Occupational Therapists of the Canary Islands (COPTOCA) signed a collaboration agreement with the aim of promoting training among health professionals on the islands.

The director of ESSSCAN, José Francisco Montelongo, explains that "the ultimate goal of this agreement is to improve the healthcare provided to the entire population through the continuous training of staff".

The agreement, valid for four years, provides for the joint organization of different courses and the organization of and participation in forums, workshops, conferences, seminars, round tables, and other awareness-raising and dissemination activities related to health promotion and protection.

This agreement is added to the rest of the institutional collaborations of ESSSCAN with various entities in the Canary Islands to promote the comprehensive training of professionals in the health and social fields, contributing to the continuous improvement of public services and the well-being of citizens.
