The Canary Islands has registered 66 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, so the total accumulated in the archipelago rises to 94,717, while the deaths remain at 981 as no deaths have been added for the second consecutive day, according to data from the Ministry of Health of the Canary Islands Government.
Thus, of the total cases, 1,981 are active (+32), of which 40 are admitted to the ICU (no variation), 194 remain hospitalized (-2) and 1,747 are in their homes (+34). In addition, 91,755 people have overcome the disease so far in the pandemic in the archipelago after 34 people were discharged from hospital in the last hours.
Regarding the Cumulative Incidence (IA) at 7 days in the Canary Islands, it stands at 24.5 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and the IA at 14 days is at 56.53 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. Likewise, a total of 2,115,121 PCR tests have been carried out on the islands, of which 124,340 were positive, which represents 5.88 percent.
By islands, Tenerife adds 25 positives, accumulating 45,320 cases, of which 1,027 are epidemiologically active, 561 have died and 43,732 have overcome the disease; Gran Canaria has 36,196 accumulated (+14), of which 680 are active, 332 have died and 35,184 have been discharged from hospital.
For its part, Lanzarote adds 10 positives, with 6,822 accumulated, of which 100 are active, while it has registered 50 deaths and 6,672 have overcome the disease; Fuerteventura has 4,417 accumulated cases (+15), of which 154 are active, 17 have died and 4,246 have been discharged from hospital; and La Palma adds two cases and reaches 1,099 accumulated, of which eleven are active, 16 have died and 1,072 have been discharged from hospital.
Finally, El Hierro remains with an accumulated of 458, of which seven are active, four have died and 447 have overcome the disease; while La Gomera accumulates 402 cases, of which none are active, one has died and 401 have been discharged from hospital.
