Canary Islands reports four deaths with Covid since Friday, one of them 38 years old

The archipelago has registered 918 positives in people over 60 years of age in the last four days.

The Canary Islands have registered four deaths of patients with Covid since last Friday, as reported this Tuesday by the Ministry of Health. One of the deceased was 38 years old and the other three were between 83 and 95 years old.

The Ministry specifies that all the deceased, two in Tenerife and two in Gran Canaria, had "previous pathologies".

Regarding the new positives in people over 60 years of age, which is the only age group that is still being tested, 918 more cases have been reported in the last four days.

Thus, the Cumulative Incidence for this age group at 14 days stands at 729.44 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 7 days at 380.37.

Currently, in the Archipelago there are 251 people admitted with coronavirus, of which 15 are in the ICU and the rest, 236, on the ward.
