The Canary Islands Ministry of Health reports 124 new cases of coronavirus COVID-19. The total number of accumulated cases in the Canary Islands is 47,492 with 4,765 active, of which 79 are admitted to the ICU and 302 remain hospitalized. In the last few hours, no deaths from COVID-19 have been reported in the Canary Islands.
The 7-day Cumulative Incidence in the Canary Islands stands at 54.28 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days at 119.03 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
By islands, Tenerife adds 60 cases with a total of 20,046 accumulated cases and 2,491 epidemiologically active cases; Gran Canaria adds 45 cases and has 19,675 accumulated and 1,902 active cases. Lanzarote adds 14 new cases with 4,668 accumulated and 83 epidemiologically active; Fuerteventura has 2,096 accumulated cases with three more cases than the previous day and 259 active. La Palma adds two new cases and has 481 accumulated and 26 active; El Hierro does not add any cases, so its accumulated cases are 300 and it has no active cases. Finally, La Gomera also does not add new cases, so its accumulated cases remain at 225 and three active.
Up to now, a total of 972,739 PCR tests have been carried out on the Islands, of which 2,000 correspond to the last 24 hours.
