Canarias adds a total of 1,029 new positives for Covid-19 among people over 60 years of age since last Friday, which is the population group that is being monitored after passing the acute phase of the pandemic.
In addition, the Archipelago regrets a total of seven deaths in recent days, three in Tenerife, three in Gran Canaria and one in Fuerteventura. All the deceased, aged between 81 and 96 years, except for one case of 62 years, had previous pathologies and were in hospital.
Therefore, the accumulated cases of coronavirus among this group amounts to 63,488 people in the Canary Islands. Thus, the Accumulated Incidence for this age group at 14 days stands at 886.31 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 7 days at 431.04.
Currently, in the Archipelago there are 264 people admitted with coronavirus, of which 16 are in ICU and the rest, 248, on the ward.
