The Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands registers three new cases and four under study of monkeypox since this Monday.
Therefore, since the beginning of the declaration of the health alert, there have been 151 confirmed cases, of which 88 were detected in Gran Canaria, 57 in Tenerife, four in Fuerteventura, one in La Palma and another in Lanzarote. All active cases are having mild symptoms and remain in home isolation.
In addition, the Ministry maintains seven cases under study, all suspected, in Tenerife and Gran Canaria. Currently, in Lanzarote there are none under study.
