The Government of the Canary Islands has received the first official documents from the Ministry of Territorial Policy and Public Function to close the transfer of a strategic competence such as coastal management.

The President of the Canary Islands, Ángel Víctor Torres, announced in a press conference that these documents, which were received last week, are already being studied by the legal and technical services of the Ministry of Ecological Transition of the Government of the Canary Islands.

Ángel Víctor Torres has even revealed that the area's counselor, José Antonio Valbuena, is in Madrid to finalize said transfer "in the most logical, coherent, and fair conditions" for the Canary Islands.
