Canary Islands adds 1,163 new positives for Covid-19 among people over 60 years of age, which is the population group that is monitored after passing the acute phase of the Pandemic, in the last three days.
On the other hand, the Canary Islands registers a total of four deaths in the last three days, of which three were reported in Tenerife and one in Gran Canaria. The deceased, aged between 63 and 89 years, had previous pathologies and were in hospital.
Therefore, the accumulated cases of coronavirus among this group amounts to 54,091 people in the Canary Islands. Thus, the Accumulated Incidence for this age group at 14 days stands at 695.32 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 7 days at 371.08.
Currently, there are 291 people hospitalized with coronavirus in the Archipelago, of which 17 are in the ICU and the rest, 274, are on the ward.
