Canarias regrets six deaths from Covid and registers 520 new positives in four days

In the archipelago there are 300 people admitted with coronavirus, of which 24 are in the ICU and 276 on the ward

Canarias has registered a total of 520 new positives for Covid-19 among people over 60 years of age since last Friday. In addition, the Ministry of Health has reported six deaths on the islands, four in Tenerife and two in Gran Canaria.

All the deceased, aged between 76 and 97 years, had previous pathologies and were in hospital.

The Ministry of Health insists that since July 8, "a sustained decrease in the accumulated incidence at 7 days in people over 60 has been observed, which is the only age group that continues to be monitored.
