The Civil Guard has investigated a 33-year-old person, resident of the municipality of San Cristóbal de La Laguna (Tenerife), as the alleged perpetrator of a crime against road safety, for driving recklessly and endangering the life or physical integrity of people.
The events occurred on March 19, when the investigated driver and his three companions, aged 22, 33 and 37, also residents of the municipality of San Cristóbal de La Laguna, who have been sanctioned for disobedience to the authority in accordance with Royal Decree 463/2020 of the State of Alarm (article 36.6), were driving on a road belonging to the municipality of Tacoronte, while they were recording themselves with a mobile terminal making gestures, taunts and shouting at the neighbors, related to the current and serious health crisis situation.
The video they recorded was later uploaded to various social networks.
The investigation has been carried out by Civil Guard agents belonging to the Tacoronte Main Post. The proceedings instructed have been made available to the Investigating Court of Guard of San Cristóbal de La Laguna.
