A reader has contacted La Voz to report the continuous robberies in the shops of Avenida de las Playas, in Puerto del Carmen. In a video recorded by one of the customers of one of the stores, you can see how this runs after the thief after stealing some clothes in a robbery that took place this Wednesday.
"The man arrived and took a lot of clothes, the customer started running after him but could not reach him," he says. In addition, according to the reader, the same man stole the delivery cart from the same merchant, whose market value can reach 600 euros.
This businessman demands more police presence in the area to prevent these robberies but asks that "the agents walk through the businesses and not in the car" because the way these people who steal act is to "take a whole hanger and run away."
