He has been living in San Bartolomé for two and a half years, in a newly built house, whose cistern is lined with a "plasticized liner". Shortly after Juan Rodríguez began living in this house, "the tap water began to come out brown", he said in a complaint sent to La Voz.

"As of today, the color of the water when I open the tap is still brown. The bottom of the cistern is completely full of dirt in just two and a half years," said this neighbor.

"You can imagine how clean the clothes and dishes are with that water, how the toilet water stays when you flush it, how the clay thermos will be inside, the dishwasher and the washing machine. When you go to bathe the children you see that the water is dirt, just like when you go to brush your teeth," he denounced.

This neighbor contacted Inalsa to explain his problem. A few days later, the public company sent a person to collect water samples, but said that "it was clear". "I invited him to see how the water comes out of the tap and the bottom of the cistern. He told me no, that it was private property and he couldn't enter", he said.

In short, according to Juan Rodríguez, Inalsa "disregards all the mud they have put in the cistern". "I will have to either find someone to clean it for me every year, or a plumber to raise the hydro pipe and install filters," he said. Meanwhile, the water bill "will skyrocket". "Instead of sending us water, they send us mud", he lamented.
