Towels strewn all over the floor and large buckets to bail out water. A resident reported the state of the pavilion in the Villa de Teguise last Thursday.
Due to the rain, this municipal infrastructure, which hosts minors daily practicing different sports in the town, has been affected by leaks.
In the images sent to La Voz, several towels and t-shirts can be seen spread across the pavilion floor in an attempt to combat the leaks affecting different areas. At the same time, large buckets have been placed to prevent the infrastructure from flooding.
On the ceiling, one can observe different damp patches and rusted areas, from which drips are falling
A resident has reported that these scenes are occurring at the same time that the mayor of Teguise, Olivia Duque (CC), and the councilor for Sports of the municipality, Alejandro Ramírez (PP), are at the Tourism Fair in Madrid, known as Fitur.
