A reader has contacted this section to express their displeasure at the presence of several public officials from the PP and CC at the La Rinconada karting track, in the municipality of Tías, while, as they point out, "7,000 people were demanding in Arrecife the continuity of the Insular Hospital. In their letter, the resident assures that "a group of significant politicians from CC and PP of equal significance went to 'launder' the La Rinconada Karting track". Among those attending, they cite the senator, the director general of Youth, the Minister of Sports, the mayor of Arrecife, and the Minister of Public Works, among others.

The reader maintains that it is an establishment that "has always been marked by its controversial location" and lists several issues that, according to their version, have surrounded the development of the facilities. Thus, they state that "they destroy the Barranco del Puente Grande, they put in a small drainage pipe", that "they fill the riverbed, they destroy paths and trails", that "communal cisterns with arched roofs disappear" and that "metal hangars continue to be built over the ravine".

Finally, they conclude with a political reflection by assuring that "the electoral race of the right begins in the Barranco del Puente Grande" and add: "They can bet on it now".
